Founder

With a rich tapestry of experience in marketing and business development, our Founder brings a unique blend of expertise to the table. Having founded a former marketing agency and spearheaded numerous successful campaigns across diverse industries, Sarah Tait possesses a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics.

Prior to entering the agency world, our Founder was educated at the University of Winnipeg (Bachelor of Business Administration) and Red River College (Sales & Marketing Certificate). She then honed her business skills in corporate sales and marketing within the beverage, hotel, and manufacturing sectors. Notable achievements include managing the development of furniture collections for an HGTV television star, overseeing material sourcing and product development in East Asia, and developing and conducting educational workshops on social media strategies for business owners across the USA.

A relationship-driven individual at heart, our Founder is known for her unwavering creativity, agility, and exceptional project management skills. Further, she’s got a knack for making her clients laugh along the way. When she’s not working on campaigns for her clients, Sarah can be found traveling, playing music, eating good food, and studying aviation (fun fact: she’s obsessed with planes and would be more than happy to engage in discussions regarding Boeing with you).

Taysia P-Falgui

Social Media Specialist

As a recent graduate of the Business Administration program at Winnipeg’s RRC Polytech, majoring in Marketing, Taysia brings a blend of academic knowledge and hands-on experience to the table.

She excels at identifying market segmentations, crafting compelling digital mock-ups, and devising effective marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness, engage customers, and provide value to your audience.

Taysia’s education and hands-on experience have provided her with a solid foundation in marketing strategy and execution, enabling her to adapt to various brand voices and target audiences. She is passionate about collaborating with a diverse array of industries, spanning from hospitality to beauty and beyond.

Outside her work, Taysia loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and hanging out with her rescue pup, Thane!

Tia Simoens

Graphic Designer

Tia is a graphic designer and marketing professional with over a decade of experience bringing creative ideas to life. A graduate of the Digital Media Design program at Red River College, she began her career designing in-house for several Canadian companies.

At Palliser Furniture - where she and Reverie's founder first met - Tia worked on product branding, packaging, and large-scale trade show displays. She later joined True North Sports and Entertainment, where she developed digital campaigns for the Winnipeg Jets and contributed to branding and promotion for major local events like ManyFest and Flatlander’s Beer Fest. Today, Tia is an integral part of the Reverie Marketing team, where she brings her creative vision and technical expertise to everything from branding to campaign development.

Outside of work, she loves to travel, discover new local breweries, and dive into personal creative projects for friends and family.

Izabella Colatruglio

Marketing Assistant

Izabella is a marketing assistant at Reverie Marketing and a Business Administration student at Winnipeg’s RRC Polytech, where she’s working toward her diploma in Marketing (Class of 2026). With a strong foundation in strategic marketing, digital content creation, and market research, she brings fresh insight and creative energy to every project.

At Reverie, Izabella supports a variety of client accounts by conducting research, creating social media content, and helping bring campaigns to life. She has a natural talent for understanding brand voice and enjoys crafting stories that resonate for a variety of B2B and B2C industries.

Outside of marketing, Izabella is just as passionate and driven and enjoys playing hockey, spending time on the golf course, and enjoying moments with family and friends.

Carolyn Schmidt

Writer

Carolyn (she/her) has always had a writer’s heart, even as a farm kid growing up on Treaty 4 land in Saulteaux (Plains Ojibwa), Plains Cree, and Assiniboine territory (known to her as southeastern Saskatchewan).

She loved writing short stories, poems, melodramatic diary entries, and even a couple of novellas. As a pre-teen, she entered writing competitions, winning first prize in a provincial science fiction contest and best in province for a Remembrance Day essay. In her small-town high school, she poured her heart and soul into creating a school newspaper, with a special “Arts and Culture” section that nobody but her really cared about.

At the University of Regina, she wrote feature articles for the university’s publication, The Carillon, but soon realized that the journalism life was not for her. And eventually she stopped writing, aside from the pages and pages of letters she hand-wrote weekly to her friends and “pen-pals” around the country.

Now, with a Bachelor of Arts degree (University of Regina), a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Providence University College) and a post-grad certificate in Teaching for Learning in Applied Education (Red River College Polytechnic), she has years of experience as an educator and administrator at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. But with her writer’s heart still beating, she embraced any opportunity to write content for websites, blogs, curriculum, manuals, or presentations. She currently teaches Communication courses at Red River College Polytechnic and loves challenging her students to write from their hearts, not from AI.

In recent years, Carolyn began focusing on new creative pursuits like acting, painting, pottery, and dancing. And with the urging of friends, she is rekindling her love of writing. Seeking ways to refine her skills both creatively and professionally, she’s freelancing with proofreading, resumes, and copywriting projects. She’s grateful for and inspired by Sarah Tait and thrilled to be collaborating with Reverie Marketing.
